Our October tournament had 9 starters, (Not bad for a school holiday long weekend) so a bye was required.
Your TD got off to a flying start against Steve C. I think I rolled approx. 5 doubles in the first 6 rolls! Steve had no chance.
Next was a hard-fought match against Farshad.
Sherin went the same way as Steve.
But my run hit a brick wall called Noah. 0/7
Final results were financially interesting as Noah (the winner – and a bottle of wine) hadn’t joined the $20 pool! $80 and a bottle of wine to me and $40 to Sherin. (Wine certificates awarded next month as I forgot them. Thanks for them, to the RACA)
A shout out to Steve D who left 2/1 before the 4th round.
NB. A word about legal moves. If you roll a pair of dice, you can choose which you play first i.e. 4(x):3 or 3(-):4. If you play those dice and hit the clock, you’ve completed your move (3:4) never mind if there’s a blot 4 points away which you could have hit. You can’t then put that blot on the bar as your play has finished. Unless of course your opponent sportingly allows you to!
